Fermilab Natural Areas
Volunteer

Did you know that you can help Fermilab’s natural areas in many ways???

In addition to membership, one may wish to volunteer their time and skills towards positive ecological change.  Fermilab Natural Areas has opportunities available throughout the year.

  • Native seed collector
  • Rare plant monitor
  • Wildlife survey assistant
  • Weekly or monthly habitat volunteer
  • Grant writing assistant
  • Eagle Scout projects
  • Turtle, dragonfly, or frog monitor
  • Rain barrel assembly
  • Arbor Day tree care
  • Trails monitor
  • Or… take part in our NEW stewardship program.

Love prairies, savannas, sedge meadows and marshes?  Now you can adopt-a-spot and work with Fermilab’s restoration ecologist in the management of that site.
Please download the following volunteer application and return to mailing address provided or email to ryancamp@fnal.gov
